Students who receive Haiti 2020 scholarships are provided with many programs and services that they can use throughout their scholarship-year in order to meet the scholarship conditions and requirements. Students are assigned tutors who guide them toward making strong academic, career, professional, and growth development decisions.
Haiti 2020 Online University
Haiti 2020 Scholarship Fund provides an online university to awardees so they can interact with tutors, sponsors, contributors, and other classmates. The online university offers few classes that provide overviews of courses that are taught in respective classes. It offers the possibilities to exchange cultural and scientific knowledge through the encouragement of research, leading to educational growth and professional and personal development.
Individualized Advising
Scholarship recipients have access to focused advising and support for the year they are awarded scholarships. Advisors are available to answer questions, provide guidance, or identify strategies to address challenges scholars are facing – whether related to academic life, academic adjustment, career exploration, or other concerns.
Tutoring
Tutoring is a year-long initiative designed to help scholars navigate their years as scholars, understand their scholarship award, and learn more about the various programs and services H2020SF offers to support its scholarship recipients. Each month, all scholars receive an e-newsletter full of tips, advice, and information written by H2020SF staff.
Haiti 2020 Scholarship Fund provides tutoring through which scholars receive direct academic support from professionals. Tutoring is conducted online and becomes one of the various criteria to remain elligible for Haiti 2020 Scholarship Incentives.
Haiti 2020 Médiathèque
Awardees of Haiti 2020 Scholarship Fund utilize the services of a médiathèque where academic books, magazines, audio and video media, and a variety of scientific and cultural sources and resources are available. The médiathèque also houses a network of computers with high-speed Internet access, printing and faxing capabilities. Awardees utilize the Haiti 2020 Médiathèque to access Haiti 2020 Online University interface. The construction of the médiathèque will start in year-two of the project. It will be located in Léogâne, Haiti, where is also the Headquarters of Haiti 2020 Scholarship.
